Put a small drop of Loctite 222 on the screws. Put the rings around the scope, and insert the screws (top and bottom). They need to be as loose as possible, with only enough thread engagement to keep the screws in place. Fit the rings to the rails, and adjust the arrangement of the ring/rail and ring/scope to your preference..
